Spring has come to the Carolinas in February this year and we have no complaints.

Thank you for your visit, most appreciated!

It is spring but the spirit of a cold winter lingers on. It is windy, rainy, and to the north of us snow is expected. Still, I’ll keep my cheer. Wish a wonderful time!

Snowdrops shining in the warm spring sun. I think the picture alone can convey more emotions, than I am able to do with words.

Schneeglöckchen leuchten in der warmen Frühlingssonne. Ich denke, das Bild allein vermag mehr Gefühle zu transportieren, als ich es mt Worten tun könnte.

And yes, we know it's spring, even when the wind blows and rains and hails are pouring down on us at this moment, it is spring,...I think....

Double Exposure in-camera

During early spring in the NWT, the roads and pathways are often brightened up with patches of wild roses. After a long barren winter these are a welcome sight. In early spring I will harvest the rose petals for tea and to make a jelly. Then by late autumn the flowers transform into bright red rose hips that are harvested following the first frost for rose hip jam. Oh, and by the way, early spring here is early to mid June. This photo was taken under the midnight sun just before 12 midnight.

Spring is almost here, we went ahead one hour today.

Happy Sunday!

Hopefully the last snow of the year has now come and gone!

Almost Spring beautiful Spring like day with a warm sunset, nice after a bout of cold rain.

Fall River in Rocky Mountain NP, Colorado is a beautiful place to visit in Spring.

Of course, Spring at this elevation comes a bit later than the vernal equinox. If one were to visit in March, it's unlikely you would be able to get anywhere near this part of the river, just downstream from Chasm Falls, as the snow would still be pretty deep, and the road impassable.

It's spectacular, with ideal hiking weather in early June!

People love spring. White hawthorn trees blossom makes music in heart. No chance not to dance.
