Kind of along the same theme as last week...cleaning! I have a bunch of days off right now and a little later on in May so I decided that it was time for some Spring Cleaning! This weekend it was all about the normal stuff...vacuuming, cleaning the bathrooms, and cleaning the kitchen...and now I'm just beat! But the house is clean and it looks really nice! There's more to do, but that'll come later.
Some stuff (PCI cards, cables, and other long-term stuff) already in boxes.
The pile is mostly power cables, disk drive enclosures for the rack mounts kits and assorted small electronic parts.
Friday, August 1st - What crappy projects I left myself - cleaning out the linen closet and my own. Frack.
Pulled out 8 sets of sheet, several blankets and what seems like 100's of pillow from the linen closet.
This is the second, actually 3rd, swipe at my own closet. Culled 43 pairs of shoes and two more boxes of clothes. I can finally see my floor again.

Spring Cleaning 2009 Series: Since I haven't been posting very much since I got my new computer and my photos got disorganized, I did a spring cleaning and organized stuff and found some half-decent shots that I had not posted.
The babies are now accomplished aviatars, although they are still following mom around a lot and making so much noise. I removed the nest from on top of the deck light and cleaned the siding. What a mess! Still, I have been reluctant to get rid of this nest for some reason. Well now it too is getting a good cleaning on the corner of my railing.

just begging to be cleaned out...having a pantry this narrow and deep is a recipe for having stuff you never see and never use.
The sun is out! I misspent the first sunny day in what seems centuries and scrubbed 5 month worth of green slime off the front and back deck....Originally had planned a snowshoe hike with the kids to Hollyburn Peak, but the gang (myself included) is still recovering from a nasty flu bug...and they were quite happily rediscovering playing in front of the house without getting wet ;-)
The Matrix Staff did some serious spring cleaning at their homes this year, so we decided it was time to hold yet another "junk" swap! Many treasures were found and claimed today, and we're excited to donate the remaining items to Goodwill in the next few days.
I gave my clowns a bit of spring cleaning today, and found a spot for a few pictures I'd acquired but not put on display...
