During Spring Break 2014, some of our Middle and Upper School choral students performed at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in NYC with choral students from Davidson Fine Arts.

www.stvincent.edu | 22 Saint Vincent students and 2 faculty traveled over spring break to study the geology and environmental science of Iceland. The trip was part of two different science courses, one for STEM majors and the other for students fulfilling the core natural science requirement. In addition to scaling the glacier the group studied the tectonic processes shaping the island, soil conservation initiatives, geothermal heating and electricity generation, and agriculture processes that allow tomatoes to be farmed year around in the artic and fish to be caught and shipped to US tables in 48 hours.
