AN otter in the River Stour at Blandford Forum.

These have just fledged and turned up at the feeders :~)) There's one who still wants his Mum to feed him, others are fairly independent.

also got Great Tits, Blue Tits, Chaffinches..................do my best to "catch" them all :~))

 

I'm not doing too good at the mo..think my brain needs re-charging or something...I'll get around to your streams & commenting asap :~(

Froth secreted by froghoppers to protect young

I saw this duck in my local park. She seemed to be paired with a male Mallard duck, so I assume that's a Mallard female. Though have never seen markings like this before.

some not very good shots of our barn owls,these have nested here for 3 years now, hope this year is better than last year it was so wet i dont think they raised any chicks,but this pair are bringing in a mouse every 5 minutes or so .been a good year for this old ash one succesfull great tit brood ( in nest box ) and a pai of Jackdaws nesting in a hole below the owls,
