One poor chick that didn't make it, must of got pushed out of the nest and landed on our garden table.

love that the trees are all kept in the agricultural lands

I dangled dangerously out of Louis' bedroom window to get my very own spring watch video! we have swallows & house martins nests all round the eaves of our house & I am planning to collect all the droppings for my veg patch!

This is a re-edit of an image taken about this time two years ago in a car park by Stodmarsh NNR. I have re-posted because of Monday's Springwatch article about moles.

Lucky to have a Yellowhammer best in my hedgerow on a new build site, sadly not a farmland habitat but an interesting adaption to the habitat.

A beautiful male kingfisher taken on a sunny afternoon on my Nikon D5500.

His ginger fur is so beautiful I just had to get a close up.
