This one has been taken in Bulborum, Limmen. A place where a lot of very old tulip species are shown every year
Tulips / Tulpen (Tulipa), still in a vase,
taken in the kitchen 'studio' because of the stormy winds ;-))
But this year, due to the mild winter, spring actually is about 4 weeks earlier than the long-term average ... !?

Springtime is here, chilly but bright. Not sure when we will next be able to visit here (Leeds Castle) so glad to have this photo!

The Lower Lighthouse at Burnham-on-Sea in Somerset from a few springtime evenings back. This was my first night back in England and I had a few mishaps to my rental car the next day, like a hit and run to the bumper and a flat tire. But I had wanted to visit this place for so long and had made a special detour to shoot the lighthouse. I had forgotten about the photo until I found it the other day. From a shaky beginning, the rest of the trip turned out fab and the guy gave me a pass on the dented bumper when I returned the car. So all ended well.
