Spring is in the air

The weather is changing, I see beautiful flowers around the bay area, thought might be a good idea for a flower shot.

Modern Eden Art Gallery Relaunch Party - March, 2020.

On my way back from Fountains Abbey after my day out with Anita I swung by The Stray here in Harrogate to capture some of the crocuses that pop up every year. Its an amazing sight of "millions" of white, purple and yellow crocuses, very beautiful!

Anita, this is for you!! โ˜บ

Iโ€™m so tired! Ordered some plants and a big planter for our sit spot in the garden last week and they all came yesterday and today. So I got stuck in and lugged compost and sand and grit and vermiculite around and mixed and filled and planted and firmed in until I was absolutely done in! But I got it done. ๐Ÿ‘

All Iโ€™m fit for now is daydreaming about how theyโ€™ll all look once theyโ€™re established. Also daydreaming about them being in flower all at the same time lol. ๐Ÿ’ค

I got the idea from Isabelle Palmer at @thebalconygardener, from her book Modern Container Gardening. Thanks Isabelle. ๐Ÿ’š

Plants are: Hydrangea paniculata Switch Ophelia; Helleborus niger Harvington hybrid (from @crocus.co.uk: and Saxifraga 'White Pixie' (from @claireaustinhp). #gardening #containergardening #planting #plants #drawing #springiscoming #springisintheair #herecomesspring! #hydrangea #hellebore #saxifraga #loveyourplot
