Styskal and a security detail of Marines accompanied Turner and his staff during a recent trip to different combat outposts in Helmand province’s Marjah district. In addition to advising Afghan forces in the blocks of Marjah, 2nd Bn., 9th Marines conducted partnered counternarcotics missions with the Afghan National Interdiction Unit in the Bari Desert during Operation Psarlay Taba. We just got 6 inches of snow in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the last 12 hours and I'm starting to get Spring fever. So I stopped at a local mom and pop flower shop and got myself some flowers to shoot. This is one of my favorites out of the set.
K20D + Tamron AF 28-80/3.5-5.6 Extreme Crop. Still not comfortable using the Pentax K20D at lower ISO's. For some reason, my copy produces more keepers and better IQ at ISO1600...
After 11 days of Spring Break, the kids are ready to go back...
