Those of us who can need to make the most of such spring sunshine and for me it has been out and about on the road bike, in fresh air and spring sunshine on our local Yorkshire lanes.

I took a walk this afternoon because I saw a tree with two big pileated woodpecker holes in it when I was driving by the other day and I wanted to take a photo of it! While I was there I looked around and this is what I saw, it was way too beautiful not to share, the sky was such a deep blue and I like the trees surrounding the scene and the snow with the shadows!

DIY 4x5 scanner camera. Xenar 180mm lens @ ƒ/8.

Trichromy RGB process. A cloud went across the sun during the green scan leaving half the lawn kind of red.

I added a Yellow-Blue Duotone onto the RGB color as softlight at 70% opacity

So RGB + Y?

A little fakery but no vibrance or saturation added.
