Green Clean Day at the Ross School of Business on Friday May 19, 2013 on a beautiful day in Ann Arbor at the University of Michigan.
Monday, when I visited Fred at Merivale, after when I was waiting for the bus the school came out for their Spring Cleaning, so I'd thought I'd upload an old photo of last year's cleanup.
Here's some trivia: Spot two people who are both only standing on one foot. They're easy to see.

What crappy projects I left myself - cleaning out the linen closet and my own. Frack.

Pulled out 8 sets of sheet, several blankets and what seems like 100's of pillow from the linen closet.

Spring cleaning at the Krigslida Commuter Station. This newish waiting area actually has built in infra heating and uncomfortable benches! There's only one track here at the old Nynäsbanan, but work has begun on a second track between Västerhaninge and Tungelsta.
Today, up to my ankles in old software! The week's project is to redo the computer, including weeding out all of the old software that somehow just accumulates...

Sideboards:
Declutter your dining room with a functional, versatile, and aesthetically pleasing storage solution: sideboards! Since most sideboards are designed to house primarily china, stemware and silverware, in addition to any mundane necessities, such as bottle openers and coasters, you can be assured that you’ll always be ready to tackle any last minute entertaining. The sideboard, however isn’t limited to storing dining essentials. Take advantage of the many drawers and shelves built into most sideboards and use to store extra miscellaneous supplies.
It's sad when your pets give you crap about your photo habit.
Actually, the *really* sad thing is, this is only part of what I shot over the past year. When I was traveling or shooting elsewhere, a lot of cartridges got trashed ...
Bees Spring cleaning - Queeny is laying eggs in a rotary pattern.
In late April, attending to the Beehives to check the cleanliness and see if the bees have enough wax to lay brood (new eggs for new workers).......
Some hives are performing so well they have quickly run out of space and present a chance for swarming - so to avoid that happening (its ok but only under controlled circumstances) we add a top box with new wax frames.

Tomorrow is the first day of spring; therefore I must get on a program for spring cleaning. I'm going to begin "flying" again. For those of you not familiar with the program please visit www.flylady.net It's a site that can help you get into a routine, get rid of clutter and put your home in order.
One of the most important and reoccuring steps is keeping your sink clean:
Shine Your Kitchen Sink
This is your first household chore. Many of you can't understand why I want you to empty your sink of your dirty dishes and clean and shine it, when there is so much more to do. It is so simple. I want you to have a sense of accomplishment. You have struggled for years with a cluttered home and you are so beaten down. I just want to put a smile on your face. When you get up the next morning, your sink will greet you and a smile will come across your lovely face. I can't be there to give you a big hug, but I know how good it feels to see yourself in your kitchen sink. So each morning this is my gift to you. Even though I can't be there to pat you on the back, I want you to know that I am very proud of you.
Go shine your sink! - FlyLady
Sprong cleaning of Kits Pool. It is huge - 350 ft long with heated water. Packed from opening day in May until late September. All the ducks and the seagulls are eagerly awaiting the fresh new bottom paint and the heated water.
A bookshelf that my grandpa built holds a print that my artist friend Martin sent me when I was 16, vintage canisters and spice containers, and cookbooks. A snoopy apron, which I swiped from my parents house, hangs from a hook on the right.
