It's a balmy spring break afternoon in the sandy desert, perfect for a spring break beach party! At our Spring Break '08 Beach Party in 'New' Mexico, as you can see, we had far more sand than we could ever need for having a beach party, since we had an ENTIRE DESERT to ourselves in which to party and have our spring break beach bash on!

Not just us college students, but even little kids, such as the one in the center-left, love to get in on the fun and action of spring break! Here l am, sunbathing on the sand during the height of Spring Break '08!!!

THIS was the place where I had my big spring break beach party in 2008! No water here, just sand! In my mind, this place is better and less wild than those crowded beaches of the other spring break hot spots like Cabo, Cancun, Lake Havasu, Panama City Beach, and South Padre Island. There's definitly more room to party and roam here in White Sands National Park.
You'll also notice in the left center part of the image lies Sierra Blanca Peak, which lies at an altitude of 12,000 feet. It's only early to mid-March, the height of the Spring Break season, of course, and yet, all the snow is already gone from the top of Sierra Blanca Peak! This was definitly not a good sign for the arid desert region, as water would become very scarce and the fire danger would skyrocket later on in the spring and especially the summer.

This was definitly one of the highlights of Spring Break '08....getting that powder-soft sand between my toes while facing the sunset and hugging & getting my picture taken with one of our own spring break girls on this warm and most perfect spring break evening!!!

Ahh, spring break wouldn't be spring break without sun, sand, and of course, girls!!!

This was taken during sunset with a lone spring breaker posing below its splendor. New Mexico has some of the best sunsets I've ever seen! My New Mexican Spring Break 2008 was indeed an unforgetable week of glorious sunsets and sunrises, free meals and drinks (just like Spring Break in Cancun), the BEST-tasteing authentic real Mexican meals I ever had, parties, including pool gatherings, GIRLS, warm sunny days, and warm nights! This was the BEST Spring Break ever!
