George Long’s American Literature students supplemented their examination of Spike Lee’s Do the Right Thing with critical readings of Malcolm X and Martin Luther King, Jr. The class discussed conflicting visions for social justice and assessed techniques for effectively connecting with audiences.

The cherry blossoms are out in the Kita giving the slide fort a swath of color, this is form the Almstadtstr side. Spring was very sudden this year, we had frost and snow, then 1 week later weather in 20C (70's F) and all the trees and plants exploded into bloom (and pollen) all at once
