Another one early spring marmalade hoverfly (Episyrphus balteatus), I think. No sun, but there seems to be a lot of fresh nectar in these very small flowers. There is no sun, but it is spring.

Spring Moon is a composite created using only two elements: a rose and a bamboo. it celebrates the spring moon, which is said to be very beautiful.

Spring blows up in more ways than one shortly after the former rains drinch our neighborhood. Worlds largest bounce-house playground complex begins to inflate even as visitors began arriving this evening.

Some lovely Willow catkins

I am never sure whether to call this very 'architectural' plant Bishop's Weed or Bullwort, but it has survived the winter and of its about 600 seed capsules on this stem alone, only three are left. It is a successful plant. Ignore the Exif data, this shot was done with the 300mm/F6.3 Samyang mirror reflex lens.

This little flower is less than 1/2" across and is one of the first wildflowers to appear in the spring woodland. It is called Carolina Spring-Beauty, and isn't it just!
