Some lovely Willow catkins

I am never sure whether to call this very 'architectural' plant Bishop's Weed or Bullwort, but it has survived the winter and of its about 600 seed capsules on this stem alone, only three are left. It is a successful plant. Ignore the Exif data, this shot was done with the 300mm/F6.3 Samyang mirror reflex lens.

Early spring blossoms in Largo, Florida.

Dreamy cherry blossoms

Nareszcie wiosna kwitnie :-) /

Spring is finally blooming :-)

You know spring is just around the corner when you hear the birds singing. Male Red-winged Blackbirds spend much of the breeding season sitting high on a perch over their territories singing their hearts out.

Freezing cold, only 2C and windy, and spring flowers, green grass and snow 😁😊

Everything is quite normal, this happens more or less every year 😅

Happy Tree-mendous Tuesday!

Pretty much a shock to see snow falling this time of year though as it clung onto the trees it truly was magic to hike this spring snowy trail.

Pushing on that trigger is like pulling magic into my very soul....Darrell.

Have a safe and exciting day dear Flickr friends !

Thank you to everyone who pauses long enough to look at my photo. All comments and Faves are very much appreciated

There's nothing like a bluebell wood in spring, very popular I know photographically but I can never resist! Very late this year and not as full as other years perhaps but still quite a spectacle with new life growing all around - I like the ferns growing across the woodland floor in particular contrasting well with the blue.

Exploring in-camera multiple-exposure - with many thanks to WPG.

Sunny spring day. A small oxeye daisy and a very small hard working wild bee. Spring... Spring... Fujifilm X-S1 + Sigma AML 72-01

forget-me-not (Myosotis / Vergißmeinnicht), seen on a walk in the forest

Myosotis (/ˌmaɪ.əˈsoʊtɪs/ MY-ə-SOH-tiss) is a genus of flowering plants in the family Boraginaceae. The name comes from the Ancient Greek μυοσωτίς "mouse's ear", which the foliage is thought to resemble. In the northern hemisphere they are colloquially denominated forget-me-nots or scorpion grasses. The colloquial name "forget-me-not" was calqued from the German Vergissmeinnicht and first used in English in AD 1398 through King Henry IV of England. Similar names and variations are found in many languages. Myosotis alpestris is the official flower of Alaska and Dalsland, Sweden. Plants of the genus are commonly confused with Chatham Islands' forget-me-nots which belong to the related genus Myosotidium (Wikipedia)
