It's been a good spring for Snowdrops, though here they're now nearing the end of the season. These are my larger Snowdrops, that come out a little later and unlike the smaller variety, have two or three flowers on each stem.
More of my Magnolia, which is very photogenic when the sun shines and if its petals have not been battered by the elements. This year it seems pretty much perfect.
Every spring i eagerly await orange tips. One of my favourite UK butterflies. Very little cuckoo flowers in the meadow I visit near the house, i wonder if the Roe deer are eating it?
Spring arrives in Crane Park, Middlesex, and here’s the first sign – a riotous blackthorn in all its blossoming glory.
The straight side shoots of the blackthorn develop into sharp thorns and the bush will produce sloes in autumn. The tree can often last up to 100 years and was once used for making walking sticks and shillelaghs.
The blossom is a vital source of pollen for early bees; birds like the dense branch network for nesting and butterflies use the bush later in spring – so it’s an all-round giver!

This Spring/Summer I had the enjoyment to walk around my neighborhood, the Dubuque Arboretum and Botanical Gardens, and in my own front and back yard! The Lilac Bushes are in both my front yard and my back yard. These particular white lilacs are in my front yard. Spring is such a beautiful time of year when nature brings us new life! Summer carries it on. Photo Images credited to Vickielynne Photography and Designs(VLP & Designs) Images may be designed on wearable art and home essentials at www.vlpdesigns.com

September 1 is considered springday, 3 weeks ahead of the earth reaching its spring position with respect to the sun.
The trees also cannot wait for that and start to open their buds and roll out their leaves.
Spring is strong and virtuous,
Broad-sowing, cheerful, plenteous,
Quickening underneath the mould
Grains beyond the price of gold.
So deep and large her bounties are,
That one broad, long midsummer day
Shall to the planet overpay
The ravage of a year of war.

I went to the Botanical Garden to capture some Spring! This one is for everybody who needs some Spring colors but especially for my friend Kim's Pics :) You should check out her photostream! But I hope everybody is going to like it.
Happy bokeh Wednesday!!
It now being spring at last, little clumps of these Eurphorbia have sprung up around the garden. Their acid yellowy green adds little pools of brightness, particularly in the shade. They may not be as showy as daffodils, but I prefer their subtlety.
This lighting came out strange in this shot but i like it anyway! Hazy light and spring colors. Finally some warmth.
~ spring colours are just gorgeous, no? they make even a mundane
suburban street look amazing! (well, passable, anyway)
For macro mondays 'pastel'
I can't quite get enough of these pretty little forget-me-nots at the moment!

Spring
Again, the violet bows to the lily.
Again, the rose is tearing off her gown!
The green ones have come from the other world,
tipsy like the breeze up to some new foolishness.
Again, near the top of the mountain,
the anemone's sweet features appear...
Again there are sufis everywhere!
The bud is shy, but the wind removes
her veil suddenly, "My friend!"
The Friend is here like water in the stream,
like a lotus on the water.
...Again the season of Spring has come
and a spring-source rises under everything,
a moon sliding from the shadows.
