A Spring snow storm has hit the Rio Grande right at the end of my trip. This MRONY was to be my eastbound partner, seen here at Spring Glen the snow would be thick for some time but by the time we reach Sagers we had beautiful sun to go with our chase.

These Merino ewes and their Border Leicester cross lambs were enjoying a quiet graze when I came by. Fortunately they didn't flee right away allowing me to get a nice shot with my long lens. I had a good talk to the farmer who wondered what I was doing! He told me many of the ewes had given birth to twins. I was pleased to see these ewes hadn't been sheared unlike some I've seen who would be shivering in the Spring cold this last week. Near Lake Eppalock, Victoria.
more on the blog.
and kind of what it feels like here today, as it is raining again.

Croci in our garden is a true signal of Spring for us in Ottawa.
The bokeh comes courtesy of a neighbour's Christmas lights still hanging in a tree.
Green Spring in Deltona has graced my photostream before, but I'm certain that I will come here every so often to capture more looks at its oddly colorful water. Its the type of place that shouldn't seem to exist in real life, only we take for granted that it does since it really exists in real life. It's amazing sulfuric water is something that every Floridian nature lover should take in.

“If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant: if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome.
~Anne Bradstreet
My first Spring picture og 2019. Did not think it needed processing, so this is straight out of the camera.
Thanks to everyone who takes the time to view, comment, and fave my photo.
This is a photo I took earlier this summer, back in July, at Spring Point Ledge in South Portland. It is the often overlooked lighthouse of Southern Maine, frequently overshadowed by nearby Portland Head and Nubble Light. I've since messed around with it a few times, but never been completely happy with how the final image turned out. I think as photographers there's always an image every now and then that just doesn't translate well to the computer world from what you remember seeing. For some reason I could never quite come up with the image I had in my head for this picture, but this is probably as close as I am going to get, so here it is!
The red tulips are providing a lovely splash of colour in the garden at the moment. The blue, pink and white 'bluebells' provide a nice colourful bokeh :)
Thanks for the lovely comments and favs on my tulip shot from yesterday and the wonderful response to my little white 'bluebell'
A few weeks ago I was in Sweden, and I was so lucky to have nice warm weather at the beginning of spring. When I arrived the trees hardly had any leaves but 10 days later I witnessed this scene in the town of Skovde. Intense green, and trees blossoming. The colors in this picture seem like coming from a fairytale. Hope you enjoy this.
I love when these come up in the spring. Seems like they all come up at once when the weather warmed up.
Thanks for all visits, comments & Favs!
I would be greatful if you follow me in flickr
Have a nice day! :)

A spring in the desert is a surprising phenomenon. When the surrounding areas are dry and mostly bare, the flowing water not only sustains a variety of lush plants, it may also carve a deep and narrow canyon, as here.
Two sites are named Keg Spring. The other, quite similar to this one, is 2,000 feet south of this one, and it also has a deep and narrow canyon. Both springs flow into Keg Spring Canyon, which flows north and east to the Green River in Labyrinth Canyon Wilderness.
Started with 7 bracketed photos, treated by Photomatix Pro 6 to create an HDR, processed to reflect the experience.
tulip magnolia signals that spring is on its way being one of the first to splash its strikingly pink pastel colors on the countryside.

Knowing that this beautiful and picturesque Gothic style church is surrounded by magnolia trees and daffodils we took a walk here on Easter Sunday. The spring blooms, weather, and of course, this glorious church building empty of church goers but full of divine inspiration and presence, didn't disappoint!
Hope and Spring are alive!
