Spring flush of green on the western slopes of the Malverns on a misty evening

spring from afar! this is the view so many are having at this moment in time, Not everyone has a garden to sit in or open spaces to walk to even if it was allowed.

So many of us are caged like animals with no escape, our behaviours curtailed by the fickle finger of fait and unknowing partners or parents in the case of younger girls our prison warders. It must be hard not being able to be yourself even if its just wearing those high heels you adore or that little secret stash of underwear calling to you from the attic knowing you can't respond. Your heads spinning in the turmoil and fear for loved ones and your selfish need to be you all taking its toll on your well being.

I am thinking of you all, be strong and you will experience a sunny spring day in the future.

On a spring day, from a distant sky, the rain whispers stories in my ear, stories of fancy drops on faces.

These were from a small tree but I am not sure if they are Cherry Blossoms or Apple Blossoms. My guess woudl be Apple.

City park Skopje - May 2009,

What a truly delightful place this is ! It looks amazing in Spring colours , I will definitely have to return in Summer to see it in full glory :-)

First of many pictures from here

The transient nature of the spring melt is on full display in the mountains. As lakes begin to thaw, features appear that may only last a day. This beautifully symmetrical nidus is where life will begin in this alpine lake.

I took this last spring when we had some nice flow in Camp Creek. I'm still

hoping for more snow in the Pikes Peak region, it's been way too dry this year.

Bad Dürkheim gardens in Spring

Another emergency with our dogs - this time my little guy's spleen had to be removed due to a large mass. All this when we were just taking him to get his teeth cleaned & he had his annual senior (he's 14) check-up a month ago. You never know what tomorrow will bring ...

Early Spring continues here with early butterflies on 70o days. Some over-wintered, some are fresh. Most are fly-by's or high above us in trees. We've seen 9 species so far:

Buckeyes

Spring azures

Orange sulphurs

Eastern Commas

Question mark

American snout

skipper sp.

Checkered skippers

White, med-small - either a large Orangetip or Cabbage white

Update 3-1-17: after seeing 2 Orangetips yesterday 2-28-17 it's clear that this earlier white butterfly could not have been a large Orangetip because of the very different shades of white and big difference in size. So it must've been a foty Cabbage White.

No Mourning cloaks, no Zebra swallowtails - yet. Wild blueberries they favor are blooming in the woods. Trees continue bursting out in bloom and fescue is green - it's looking like Easter already.

Thanks for your prayers for my baby. Happy Butterfly Monday!

In this shoot I wanna introduce Spring in my Home, camp, flowers, clean colors and trees are some of the elements present in this shoot.

I'm adding this into Lil Lamb's Boutique's NSD challenge on Mothers. This picture always reminds me of Mother's Day...this picture was quickly taken right before going out to a big Mother's Day brunch a few years ago. That's our tradition for Mother's Day, we all go out to a big, fancy breakfast. The kids are usually so well behaved and love getting to act like adults at a fancy party :-)

Happy "Last Fence Friday of Spring"! This fence is in front of another one of my favorite local farmhouses. All I really ever knew about this house, other than the fact that I loved it, was that is was supposedly haunted. When I met the owner, I had to ask, and she did tell me that it was haunted when the previous owners had lived there and had a baby. It was haunted by a young woman who would be seen sitting on the porch. She had lost her own child and was there to help take care of the baby. The people that own the house now are an older couple, and since they did not have young children living with them, they had never seen the ghost or encountered anything out of the ordinary. Every night I notice how pretty the light is hitting the fence and the yard in the evening before sunset.

Happy Fence Friday as we turn the corner and head into the lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer!

not unusual to find nice views around the hills, near my town. It's spring time!

No post processing, I used the polarizer filter.

Nessuna elaborazione, ho usato il polarizzatore

You know that spring is here when the Dutchman's Breeches start blooming.

I would always greet it in a garden." (Ruth Stout)

The obligatory first-crocus-shot! ;-)

Have a fine spring Monday!

Today is the Spring Equinox and the sun light is quite beautiful with lots of blossoms.

A class Sr3 Vectron locomotive is hauling a tanker their to Hagonsaari while enjoying nice surroundings that the spring has revealed under the snow layers. The Vectron can clearly shiny in these surroundings.

Spring hasn't finally arrived yet here in Northern Germany. While there is nice light and some flowers already it was freezing cold tonight with temps around zero degrees. So it was nice to have some gloves in the backpack.. leftover from winter...

Walking paths are a great place to do some thinking and reflecting. The air was so clean and the Sun so warm. Spring enters our lives with the hope for new beginnings, new plans and new dreams.

Stay on "Springs Path" and embrace the newness of your life this Spring.
