Spring is in full swing in NYC, as the browns and greys of winter give way to greens and multicolored blooms of the start of new growth.
The same tree as before but using the sky for a high key look. I held the tip@of the branch to give a pleasing curve.
It's mid Spring here in NZ, which means days getting longer and (mostly) warmer, some lovely days, some wild days. One day the promise of Summer is clear, the next we're blown back into Winter.
The blossoms have now been blown off the trees and the green buds are clothing their naked winter branches. And as they put theirs on, I start to loose my winter layers :-)

One of my favorite places to wander is eastern Washington in the spring because of the atmospheric conditions. This is just before the sun set. Karen and I were racing to get to a place to stop the car before this light and cloud show disappeared. Just up the road is a beautiful abandoned house that we also managed to capture. Some days images just fall into our laps, while other days one can't buy an image.
This was just processed in RAW and photoshop, with a final touch of LAB color to enhance the colors in the image.
A Yellow serenades the overcast skies with its song of spring.
