I went to Carteron to meet up with Bethan, who'd got the bus over there after taking Lucas to school. She was buying some Christmas presents in the ALDI wooden toy section - new releases today! I got a big pumpkin, to join the smaller ones in the garden. I took Bethan home and had a cup of coffee and a chat, then returned to Carterton to go swimming. The leaves on the trees in the car park were stunning - especially with a blue sky background. Swimming was a bit busy, so I only stayed for 40 minutes (50 lengths) but it was enough for me. I did enjoy it, but was ready for my lunch!
When I got home, the boiler service chap was there. Our usual one has moved into eco/green heating, but he recommended this family-run company from Tetbury. Then I did some magazine work - it's the end of the magazine's financial year, so I had a bit of spreadsheet work to do.
