It never fails to make me smile when I see Guru sprawled like this. He often sleeps taking up extravagant amounts of space. The best part: he accepts belly kisses.

We're here!

I love to relax in a deck chair on a sunny day on my lawn, alas no sun today, Weerbeer was kind enough to do the sprawling in a deckchair for me.

Ik lig graag uitgestrekt in een ligstoel in de zon, helaas geen zon vandaag, Weerbeer wilde wel even voordoen hoe dat eruitziet; lekker uitgestrekt in de zon!

Is there an event called the "Sprawl" in the cat Olympics?

There are no cat Olympics? Well, there should be.

Perseverance

These yellow flowers have burrowed underneath the wooden perimeter fence along the side of a busy road in Ottawa. Amazingly, they’re thriving in this urban environment, and are standing tall in the face of traffic, congestion and urban sprawl. Seemingly, life will find a way 💐

...as far as the eye can see

Urban sprawl and deforestation leads to poor air and water quality. It also displaces wildlife. One of the leading economic indicators is how many houses were built. Doesn't that also mean how many trees and fields were removed.

It is interesting how we organize our developments even when we have few constraints on what we can do and where we can do it. In this case, we sprawled along the hill with the big tent (city center) on one end and the little tents (homes) trailing off from there. The good news is, we all had a great views of the desert sunset! 20230622DuneCamp
