An extra that I took at the Pumpkin walk. Was not created by anyone at MSU according to the sign surrounding it. Thought it gave great spooky vibes. Was taken by Jasmine along with the rest of the pumpkin photos.
This place had some serious spooky vibes. From that, I tried to capture just how spooky it was. Very eerie indeed!
Terry Lamb Reserve, Belmore, NSW, Australia
A rather different sight by day, there's a certain... if not actually menace, certainly eeriness to a suburban park before the sun comes up. The park lamps provide circles of light, interspersed with areas of relative darkness.
In this case I've elected not to include the lamp itself, but certainly the glow from it in the top right. It could be argued that it's somewhat distracting, certainly more so than in my shot of the Anzac Bridge sculpture (in the Sydney / Pyrmont-Darling Harbour gallery) since the light in that one wasn't pure white.
However I wanted to make it clear that the light was both artificial and "island like" in its scope rather than having the tree appear to be lit "by magic". This is to some extent echoed by the light that can be seen between the two foreground trees.
