Though nothing can bring back the hour

Of splendor in the grass,

of glory in the flower,

We will grieve not, rather find

Strength in what remains behind;

In the primal sympathy

Which having been must ever be;

In the soothing thoughts that spring

Out of human suffering;

In the faith that looks through death,

In years that bring the philosophic mind.

Campiglia marittima, that is of the Maremma (in Latin Maritima), a medieval town considered one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, was already inhabited in the Etruscan and Roman times due to the wealth of minerals in the area. The first official document mentioning Campiglia dates back to 1004

High above Hjørundfjord at Sunnmore. The fjord runs like a giant canyon through mountainous alps. This is one of the world's most spectacular fjord, according to one of the visitors. In the end of the fjord you will find Øye. Øye has been a central location for the early tourist traffic to Norway since the end of the 1800s and first 1900s. This is a good starting point for mountain hikes. Here you will also find the famous hotel Union. The hotel stands in its former splendor and looks like it did when it opened in 1891. A few years ago the hotel got the award «One of the worlds 12 most exciting hotels».

Nature is not just beautiful, at times it exceeds the limits of our imagination. With the state in which natural communities of animals and plants exist, there is also adaptation, competition, and other interactions between the members of nature.

Matthew 6:29: “Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was clothed like one of these flowers.”

Was a great way to start a day by pushing it up the Misery Trail swiftly in the dark to be in position to catch the first light on this primordial section of Smith Rock. It was admittedly better when I topped out, slowed down and enjoyed this morning splendor.

Thanks for taking a look. Always appreciated.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!
