Taken over a year ago. Spirea (Spiraea) flowering heads are tiny, and the flowers resulting are, too.
Upstate South Carolina needs some rain. We haven't had any for over a month, and lakes and ponds are drying up. There are several fires burning away.
Thanks for looking! Isn't God a great artist?
Spirea (Spiraea) bush. The plant is frequently used as an ornamental. The flowers are quite small, but they grow in bunches.

Thank you for visiting and faves! Have a nice day! 😊
Spiraea plants have groups of tiny flowers. As you can see, there are five petals per flower, and these petals are not attached to each other. Not surprisingly, they are a member of the rose family.

Lovely to see the Spiraea flowering.
I won't have a lot of time for photography or Flickr between now and Wednesday so will post and catch up when I can.
Spirea, aka Spiraea, a member of the rose family. The flowers are tiny, but they have the characteristic 5 (or multiple of 5) petals, separate from each other.

Spirea (aka spiraea) flowers are small. But they, like other members of the rose family, have separated petals, 5 per flower (some roses have petals in multiples of 5).

Spiraea, aka Spirea, is a small bush, a member of the rose family, with lots of small flowers, perhaps 1 cm across. This bush was where we used to live, and it was attractive to various kinds of bees, such as this small bumblebee, whose pollen basket looked almost full.
