This is a mini sanding attachment for our Dremel like tool.
We stayed in beautiful Honfleur for one night, had a fantastic ride on this ferris wheel overlooking the whole area. It was the start into wonderful holidays in Brittany last year 💙
It was a bit of a challenge but only took me a few tries. I needed the tripod to get that spindle nicely focused.

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
Today is a pink or purple day at Color my World Daily and at Smile on Saturday the theme is: spinning around.
Capturing the movement or a motion blur is always tricky for me. I tried do find something round (or almost) and spinning… I had several ideas but then it hit me (another alcohol induced vision but also it was Earth Day yesterday) : Earth ! Earth is round (or almost) and it is spinning around constantly… And then I had another vision, this one was induced by my work as a geographer, why not using one of my globes ? Yes, I collect (among many, many others things) globes, it is a geographer hoarder thing… The terrestrial globe in this picture, is one of my smallest one and has no monetary value. It is a cheap decorative terrestrial globe but it turns very well which is great for this picture. And then imagine flying very slowly around a spinning terrestrial globe in a red rocket. Watching the Earth from above and wondering if the pandemic is over yet or no ? Is it safe to land or should we wait some more before getting out of our tiny red rocket ? I think I will wait few more turns …at least until there is no more curfew !

Eigentlich wollte ich das Bild etwas anders gestalten, aber dann fing auf einmal meine Taschenlampe an zu flackern und es kam dieser interessante Effekt dabei heraus.

Actually I wanted to make the picture a little different, but then my flashlight suddenly started to flicker and this interesting effect came out. HSoS! :-)
This top came out of a Christmas cracker. It's amazing how long it continues to spin.
Keep safe everyone. I'm feeling very sad about the appalling situation unfolding in India. Lets hope Governments around the World can assist soon.
