Half of the fantastic crew from Community Day Charter School. They stayed near Manchester Street park and cleanup around their, West St playground and the streets between.

Cub Scouts Bear Den Pack 13 from St. Patrick's cleaned up at McDermott Park during the cleanup. They picked up trash, swept, raked, weed whacked and cut grass.

This is Armand--he's an old school Lawrence guy, attorney, member of our Board at LCW, involved in a million things around the city and apparently an arborist.

 

On Saturday Groundwork Lawrence organized the annual Spicket River clean up and it was a blast. This was my first time participating and thankfully the first time in a long time that it wasn't raining. We cleaned up at Scarito Park along the river.

 

It was great to see all the people out working together...I was tired after but it was loads of fun.

maybe the biggest thing ever pulled out of the river by volunteers-not the heaviest though, but biggest! This is the New Balance crew posing by their trophy.
