SPC Alison Weisz is a U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit International Rifle Team member. She competes in both 10m Air Rifle and 50m Three-Position Smallbore Rifle. Prior to joining the U.S. Army, Weisz earned a spot on Team USA for the 2021 Olympic Games in the Women's 10m Air Rifle event.
I'm running out of socks. This odd pair reminds me of being 14 years old (maybe they're about that old?), wearing pink, stripes and other crazy things. And of living in France where everybody seemed to wear their socks this way.

as this year has closed i finally feel a sense of completion. normally i'm feeling guilty over all the things i didn't do, resolutions unkept, progress not felt...
but this year i chose a simple mantra: move forward. whenever a choice was placed before me i did the scary thing and i moved forward. so when i think back over the things i've done this year, i can't help but feel the accomplishment and joy from a job well done.
and now, now i surrender my will and intentions. now i look forward to a new mantra and new intentions: cultivating wholeness is my focus for 2010... more at the blog
