I didn't know, what you were goin' through. I thought, that you were fine. Why did you have to hide? I didn't want to let you down, but the truth is out. It's tearin' me apart, not listenin' to my heart. You really had to go, and I would never stop you. Even though we've changed. Nothing can stay the same, it's growing pains. Be proud of all the scars, they make you, who you are. I know, you have to go, but I'll never really leave you. Nothing has to change, even though we've changed. There are no words left to say. I know, you gotta find your place, but this is not the end. You're part of who I am. Even if we're worlds apart. You're still in my heart, it will always be you and me! You can find me in the space between, where two worlds come to meet. I'll never be out of reach, 'cause you're a part of me. You'll never be alone, no matter where you go. We can meet in the space between...
Welcome to Planet Frost
Our tour continues...
Ah look, a perfect spot to do a little space camping. There is Space Hippie Pete with his RoverVan7800, a fantastic machine for enjoying a little bit of the great outdoors (provided your species is compatible with our atmosphere.) And of course Pete is joined by his little alien pal Goopster and his faithful astropup "Rover". What more could you ask for?
Also a little nod to Ids de Jong's fun little blacktron robot design. I wonder if he thinks Pete's dog is a space wolf?

The Space Guy from Series 17 now at long last has a companion.
I was lucky to be the first scanning through a new box of series 26 space minifigures and got the three that I wanted. Well, rather the two that I wanted, the other being the alien tourist, plus the nurse with baby Lenny. Wouldn't have bothered to look for her if she'd been further down in the box.

Seattle’s landmark Space Needle, built for the 1962 World’s Fair and recently updated, is easy to photograph from a viewpoint on nearby Queen Anne hill. I have photographed it many times before, even with its holiday decorations of a light tree on top. This time I wanted something different, and as I was manually focusing my lens, the new perspective revealed itself.
Space House, One Kemble Street, Holborn. Designed by architects Richard Seifert & Partners and completed in 1968.
At the time of taking this photo, the building was in the final stages of a major refurbishment by architects Squire & Partners which has added two additional floors.
The attic space at Brackley Town Hall in Northamptonshire. A heritage building about to undergo a massive restoration project funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

Last month we played tourists and went to see Alcatraz, the famous federal prison in the San Francisco Bay. The island has a layered legacy as a 19th-century military fortress, a notorious federal penitentiary, a site of Native American heritage and protest, and now one of America’s most visited national parks.
This is the prison yard adjacent to the main prison building at the top of the island. Maybe you can recognize the yard from the movie "Escape from Alcatraz"?
Also, do you recognize the title?
I processed a balanced HDR photo from three RAW exposures.

Christmas lights and Space Needle against the dark winter night sky!
Many thanks to all those who view, fav or comment my pictures. It is much appreciated.
For Macro Monday's "The space in between"
This is a box that belonged to an expensive whiskey. My husband had the whiskey and I kept the beautiful box which now houses my spices.
HMM to all.
Space Needle, Seattle. Playing around with a 12mm lens. Fun, but not sure its my cup-o-tea!

Not a real space photo. Light art. Photoshop manipulations = composite image from 2 exposures, gas clouds/nebula created using Waterworld technique, background/foreground stars/gas planet from separate image (LED/laser/kiln), (Took out the increased noise layer...didn't like it, all effects now from two unmanipulated exposures). Still testing effects.
Comments are always welcome and favs most appreciated.

This photomosaic of the Andromeda galaxy, located 2.5 million light-years from Earth, is the largest ever created using images from the Hubble Space Telescope. It features over 600 Hubble images and required over a decade to make. The composite features 200 million stars, a fraction of Andromeda’s estimated trillion-star population.
Interesting regions include: (a) Clusters of bright blue stars embedded within the galaxy, background galaxies seen much farther away, and photo-bombing by a couple bright foreground stars that are actually inside our Milky Way; (b) NGC 206 the most conspicuous star cloud in Andromeda; (c) A young cluster of blue newborn stars; (d) The satellite galaxy M32, that may be the residual core of a galaxy that once collided with Andromeda; (e) Dark dust lanes across myriad stars.

Constructed around a massive particle cannon and also equipped with ion guns and anti-fighter turrets, these destroyers decisively end space fleet battles with overwhelming force.
The engine design here was actually originally intended for the Restoration Crusader I made a while ago. I really like the angular and aggressive engine design, but it wasn't really meshing with the more reserved angles of that model's body. I ended up coming up with a different engine design for that model but I kept these and finally made a new ship that I think works better with them.
