il peut ainsi rentré au moindre petit bruit ou feuille qui bouge..il n'est posté jamais ainsi plus de 2 secondes
Pour le photographier il faut anticiper sa sortie et avoir constamment le doigt sur le déclencheur, par contre vu qu'il est très curieux, cela peut durer quelques petites minutes

Aujourd'hui...(20/10) en plein jour (12h23) des Lérots sont venus manger dans l'assiette réservées aux oiseaux..!
une audace sans mots d'un animal qui ne sort qu'à la nuit tombante...??? depuis plus de 30 ans nous les entendons la nuit dans la toiture...!
Bien un mystère la nature est ses hôtes...!

Eliomys quercinus, called Lérot, Common Lérot, Loir lérot, Loir des greniers or Rat-bayard, it is a nocturnal rodent of the Myoxidae family close to dormice.

En voilà une qui m’a donné du fil à retorde. Rapide et imprévisible. À force de la suivre dans le viseur j’en avais le tournis. Taux de réussite de photos nettes quasi nul. Il m’en reste quelques une toutefois, dont celle-ci. Selon mon Guide des mammifères du Québec et de l’Est du Canada, il s’agirait d’une chauve-souris nordique ou vespertilion nordique. N’hésitez pas à me corriger au besoin. Je ne suis pas experte en la matière.

Souris des bois , mouse of the woods
Petit rongeur de la famille des Arvicolidae.
Comme tous les Microtus il possède un corps trapu et un museau arrondi. Le pelage est brun-roux tirant parfois vers le gris sur le dos et devient plus gris-blanc sur le ventre. Le corps mesure de 7 à 12 cm auxquels il faut rajouter une queue d'environ 4 cm.
C'est une espèce qui affectionne, des terrains assez humides, des friches et des broussailles ; elle évite les terrains trop à découvert. ici je l'ai surprise, dans des branches de Sureau (Sambucus) elle n'osait plus bouger..!,/

Small rodent of the Arvicolidae family.
Like all Microtus it has a stocky body and a rounded muzzle. The coat is reddish-brown sometimes tending towards gray on the back and becomes more gray-white on the belly. The body measures 7 to 12 cm to which must be added a tail of about 4 cm.
It is a species that likes fairly humid land, wasteland and brush; it avoids land that is too exposed. here I surprised her, in the branches of Elder (Sambucus) she dared not move..!
Following some switching at Strategic and waiting for a plethora of eastbounds to clear, the Tramp Job heads back home with some empties. The colorful consist brings it through the curve at St. Anthony.
