The rainy season in the Philippines gives life to waterfalls like Batlag Falls in Tanay. During the dry season (or summer as some call it here) this waterfall is reduced to a trickle.
Milford Sound - what more can I say? Such a beautiful location. This six-shot panorama was taken from a moving boat so needed to be taken fairly quickly. Pretty happy with the result and very happy with being there on such a beautiful winter's day.

Eons ago there were hills and valleys at the northern end of NZ's South Island. Now the sea has flooded in and made sounds. Seen from Air NZ shortly after take-off from Wellington on our way home.
Although one of the most beautiful locations in the world, she still often hides herself in clouds and fog. (Milford Sound on South Island New Zealand)
