July 13 2007 - Sonic Youth perform at the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago, IL. Sonic Youth played Daydream Nation in its entirety, as part of the ATP series, Don't Look Back.

The color "sonic blue" was introduced as Stratocaster color option in 1960. The color itself was four years old by then and like many other Fender colors of that era was initially car paint, this particular one was applied on Cadillacs from 1956.
In any case, the color has a lot of the magic from times that were quite different. The wars were over, there was a steady economic boom for at least two more decades to come, rock and roll just started to become really big... Of course, there were things not good at all, cold war, open discrimination, lobotomy, etc.. but this color had some promise towards a better future. Still has and we still need it.
Acrylic on wrapped and stretched canvas.
Size 16" x 20" (40.6 x 50.8 cm).
Sides are painted, ready to hang.
Protected with matte varnish.
LT764 with a Sonic advert wrap is in Oxford Street heading for Archway on route 390. LT389 on route 55 to Walthamstow Central is about to join it from Great Portland Street

Sonic Drive-In #4923 (1,820 square feet)
2001 W Mercury Boulevard, Power Plant of Hampton Roads, Hampton, VA
This location was built and opened in 2003.
Sonic the Hedgehog (Sonic el Erizo) es un personaje de videojuegos y la mascota creada por y para SEGA. Es el personaje principal de la saga con su mismo nombre; también está presente en cómics, dibujos animados y libros. El primer videojuego de esta franquicia fue creado en 1991, en respuesta a la mascota de Nintendo: Mario. Sonic es un erizo azul de 15 años, 1 metro y 35 kilogramos que tiene la habilidad de correr a la velocidad del sonido, una característica que se muestra en la mayoría de sus juegos, siendo, además, su seña de identidad.
Sonic es un personaje heroico, aventurero e independiente. Odia cualquier injusticia. Sonic no es modesto en cuanto a su opinión acerca de sus habilidades,presume mucho acerca de su supervelocidad; pero no duda en usar dichas habilidades para salvar a las personas indefensas. Generalmente es un individuo seguro de sus habilidades y calculador, es muy inteligente (aunque lo disimula) y no le avergüenza demostrarlo con una verborrea sarcastica e ironica. Sin embargo también demuestra astucia y prudencia, dando la impresión de que tras tanta conversación esconde virtudes de las que no alardea. Se divierte con la ironía y el sarcasmo que usa para reírse de sus enemigos. Su comida favorita en los cómics y shows americanos son los perritos calientes (Hot Dogs), aunque este gusto se repite en Sonic Unleashed, donde Sonic podrá comprar y obtener perritos calientes en las ciudades, bién comprándolos o completando desafíos; en ambos casos, se los puede comer y le dan una bonificación de 70 puntos de experiencia. En cuanto a sus gustos musicales, los manuales de Sonic Advance 3 y Sonic Jam nos indican su simpatía hacia el Rock, aunque algunas páginas indican que en realidad su hobby es la música DJ. En general, los temas vocales de Sonic suelen ser temas de estilo rock (como el más conocido, It doesn't Matter, de Sonic Adventure), lo cual puede ser una prueba clara de su preferencia al rock. A modo de curiosidad, este hecho se repite en otros personajes, como por ejemplo en Knuckles y Shadow, cuyos estilos asociados son hip-hop/rap,en knuckles ,y rock/metal en Shadow , respectivamente, por lo que también podemos deducir sus estilos musicales preferidos. Sonic no es un héroe serio, sino un héroe con marcha, con "onda".

I've seen a few Sonic locations recently that have received some light exterior modifications, which includes the removal of one of the isolated canopies like you see here. I don't know why they're taking these out, but I guess it's because it's one less area the employees have to service, plus I don't think Sonic can fill up an entire parking lot anymore. When this location was built back in 2003, Sonic was huuuuuuuge in the area. Since then, I feel like they've fallen off a little and it seems like Cook Out is the hot spot for that type of food now (as a matter of fact, I tried getting photos of the Cook Out down the street today but the drive-thru line was so long that I couldn't even circle the building!). For now, this pictured location still has the original look and both isolated canopies.
Toa of sonic, he speaks very little, finding chatter to be, unnecessary. A stoic toa, when he speaks, others listen.

This Sonic location opened in February 2012 and reuses an old KFC location. Unlike other Sonic locations this location has an indoor dining room and a double drive-thru in addition to the normal car hop service and outside dining area.

This show WILL be in my top five shows of this year. Yamantaka//Sonic Titan is a band that is a little bit metal, a little bit experimental with lots of melodies and interesting dynamics to keep you in awe of their creative spirit. (For fans of: Boris, Blonde Redhead, Deerhoof) The band is on tour now and their makeup, stage production, and lighting was intense and quite amazing. I fell in love with their self titled album a couple of weeks ago and have been playing it non stop. I was worried the band would not live up to the greatness of their record but they definitely did and more...go see this band!!!!

I know a lot of people don't like these, but I don't mind them. I like the different take accomplished here on the New Balance 574. It's a much slimmer model than the original, even though these are also made in China. Shape is not bad, but no where near as good as the 574 Custom. Great beaters for my photo sessions. ;)

I take care of stray cats, please don't abandon them anymore or throw them out the window, these poor animals are part of the family, they suffer, they feel hunger, thirst, pain and loneliness, they are faithful to us until death.
