Sometimes things just don't go as planned.
This sweet chipmunk got himself stuck high up in a bush. There were no branches around for him to grab onto and the one he was on was quite thin. I didn't have a ladder tall enough to climb up and help him. He did make it out of there without any injuries.

Sometimes Mother Nature likes to play with colours. When I took this picture she painted a hazy, apricot sunrise as a backdrop for heather in full bloom and lush green gras topped with dew drops.

The heather grows on my garden wall. I cut a tulip for a tall, narrow glass vase. I quickly took a picture and was curious to see what came out of the camera.
