….ups, where has Tiny Teddy gone??? He was sitting in this Ficus Tree before I opened the window to let the wind come in. He must have been blown away – sent out the Bear Force to look for him and hope he will be found soon ....

It's a handheld shot at 1/6 sec of two vehicles passing on a highway, for this week's Crazy Tuesday theme: "Something in Motion." What I can't figure out is why the vehicles themselves show motion blur, but the chrome on the wheels shows up as patterns instead of blur. I took several shots of different vehicles and they all came out the same way.

The only thing I can postulate is that maybe the autofocus function on the camera tried repeatedly to focus on the wheels as they turned(?). In any case, I sort of like the look; it gives the image a kind of sci fi or futuristic vibe for me.

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !!

Today is an orange day at Color my World Daily and the theme at Crazy Tuesday is something in motion. Who remembers the time when fidget spinners were a thing ? I do for sure !! My older son was about 7-8 years old at the time and the only thing he wanted in life was a fidget spinner. Apparently every cool kid in school had at least one fidget spinner !!! The damn thing was so popular that every store in a 100 km (and I'm not even kidding !!) radius from my house was « out of stock » for fidget spinners. We had to put our names in at least 6 different stores on a waiting list for a fidget spinner !!! And the price of that thing was around 20 $ (Canadian dollars). We ended up having quite a collection of fidget spinners. Our whole families (grand parents from both sides included), where on the hunt for fidget spinners ! At one point, I was under impression that there was way more fidget spinners than people on this planet !! Today, I can’t remember last time I saw a fidget spinner in a store. Maybe at a dollar store somewhere… But what happened to all that fidget spinners madness ?? And, what happened to all those fidget spinners ?

Mucho, mucho amor for you my friends !! Have a beautiful day !!!

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!! And see you soon on Flickr !

The Crazy Tuesday theme is Something in Motion.

With a couple of bird feeders in our back yard, it wasn't hard to find something in motion.

CRAZY TUESDAY

I didn't realise that Robbie the r/c robot walked so slowly but it worked quite well for me in this challenge. I used windowlight and slow sync rear curtain flash for this effect. If Robbie had been walking a bit quicker he would have fallen off my table.

You all should know by now that I'm obsessed with cacti, especially saguaro. They're just starting to bloom - apparently the last cactus in the desert to flower. I discovered today that bees love their flowers.
