Went up on the roof today to get a shot for the school website's banner. Sam and Lamb (to whom I credit the adventure) weren't quite ready to leave.
A great piece of work from an upcoming street artist (and personal friend)....who shall remain anonymous. As with many things in life, sometimes less is more.

So tonight I did what I've been wanting to do for a long time.
I went outside at sunset by myself and just took pictures for like an hour.
I love being alone and I love taking pictures and I hardly ever have time anymore. It was wonderful.
and when it was darker I just sat outside and thought and prayed and wrote.
It was lovely.

So funny story. Well. Not that funny if you're me.
I was standing here taking pictures...and this bug comes up and starts attacking me and buzzing in my ear. and I hate bugs, so I started freaking out. So it left and I took another picture...and then it came back. and it wouldn't go away. I'm standing here waving my head around and running my hands through my hair trying to get it to leave...and it finally did. and then it came back again. and so I started walking around trying to get it to leave...maybe it was attached to me or something..but it just kept buzzing in my ear. so I'm like, running back and forth, waving my head and hair around like an idiot, and freaking out. and it wouldn't ever leave...so I finally just gave in and decided to go to a different place. and when I went right around the corner...I saw this 20 something year old guy, with his bike, talking on the phone...who had probably just watched the whole thing.
Needless to say....I went the other direction.
+2 in comments..I'm indecisive.
Someone had chilly fun building this snow family...I'm sure the whole ritual is somewhere on video! 😊⛄⛄⛄
If I remember correctly, there was a wedding photographer that was exiting this bridge that was from one building to the other at the museum & I am assuming that these shoes belonged to someone in the wedding party. Oops.

CP must be repaying CN some horsepower hours. 8012 rolling through Walker yard on this unknown grain train. Been a weird month as CN has been repaying CP horsepower hours too as there have been various CN units spotted on CP. The winter sun and the long shadows makes it tough to shoot in the afternoon, but figured I'd grab this shot anyways. I think the Amazon delivery guy that was delivering to a nearby business probably though I was nuts as I flew out of the truck and grabbed my camera from the back seat and ran over to the fence for the shot.
