Some days ago, mon ami Blackie has passed away due to cancer.

I saw the garage scene at Backdrop Village (maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Eversong/218/202/2204) and decided to pop on overalls and make myself look like a gearhead. Nothing in reality could be further from the truth.

I am far too short for the built in animations. I had to rez a box to stand on and add a pose of my own.

Some serious preening!

Slightly bigger than a mallard, these long-necked and small-headed ducks fly with a curved back pointed wings and a tapering tail, making this the best way to distinguish them from other ducks in the UK. The pintail is a 'quarry' species, meaning that it can be legally shot in winter, but - unlike in parts of Europe - it does not appear that shooting is affecting their population status in the UK. The small breeding population and significant winter population make them an Amber List species.

Some strange leading lines to Zandvoort....

Some souls cannot be saved

Some fires cannot be tamed

Some lies reveal the truth

I see the real in you

You were the hand that lit the flame

Now you're trying to erase me

You were the hand that led the way

Now you're trying to break me

A huge thank you to Abigail Brewer for help with the edit of this picture. I could not have made this vision a reality without her.

Hello my friends!

Today I spent some time taking photos at "São Bernardo" lake. Yonder is a very beautiful place, and the weather is extremely pleasant. I Returned home feeling very good, because it's a very peaceful and harmonious place.

In addition, there are twenty-eight new photos on my personal stock. :)

I hope you enjoy this one.

Have a wonderful week!

Behind some dirty facade hides an idyll. Beyond mirrored facades of modern buildings in our cities, there are places that remind us that nature and human beings belong together. In a perfect world, we will not survive. Because we ourselves are not perfect.

This lovely lady caught my attention for a short while, but long enough to miss the first departure of the Brown Goshawk. Fortunately, it came back to the same tree again so that I could get two wide wing spreads instead of just one (-; (see the previous image)

are more elaborate than others!

These Victorian windows date from around 1890 and, showing careful maintenance/restoration, are still working in Berkeley/CA.

See how close it is to a neighbor house! These city lots are so tight!
