Why is this here?! It wasn't there before! I'm only using Jay's PC Textures... This looks to my eyes to be a normal map issue? If so, I think I can fix it easily. If it's not... any tips???
Oh, and I hope you enjoy my freehand MS Paint skills at 1AM :)
Bad pun during the FreeFEM++ workshop. At 9 in the morning. Gah.
A little background for those who don't understand the pun:
Poisson equation: a famous example in partial differential equations. Find a function u(x,y) such that:
-(Laplacian of u) = f(x,y)
Here, Laplacian of u = partial derivative of u wrt x + partial derivative of u wrt y.
Poisson: French word for fish.
So basically, they want to solve the Poisson equation on a fish-shaped domain, a.k.a. "poisson" domain.
FYI, they used f(x,y) = 1 in this example, with u = 2 on the boundary.
finally got my Solve stickers in the mail...stoked. Thank you guys so much for sending these to me. I'll do you and Solve proud.
In Madison, with red sign at end of W Doty before RR Tracks w of S Bedford. Wind blew heavy rain directly at the sticker, but it's still riding and readable.
The Chicago street artist known as SOLVE (Brendan Scanlon) was murdered June 14, 2008. These are some pictures I took of his artwork, mostly around Uptown and Lake View, in 2006. I had no idea who he was, but I kept seeing his work around the area and always found it intriguing.
