Se aprecia que lo hace incluso en las paradas de los autobuses en la carretera general a Cangas.
Realmente se busca encontrar pareja.
Cangas volvió a ser ayer puntual con la tradición. Así, damas y galanes se entregaron a un baile centenario cuyos orígenes se remontan al siglo XVII pero cuyo significado nadie conoce. Algunos estudiosos señalan que pudo nacer como imitación de los bailes que solía celebrar la nobleza rural.Lo cierto es que cada 20 de enero, en la parroquia de Aldán, la danza en honor de San Sebastián se convierte en el mejor reclamo de la fiesta.La principal seña de identidad del baile, que ejecutan cinco damas, diez galanes y un guía, son los sombreros. Tocados imposibles cuajados de flores que las mujeres lucen sin perder el equilibrio. También los hombres llevan sombrero, aunque mucho menos aparatoso. Unos y otros se estrenaron el año pasado; los de las damas fabricados expresamente en una sombrerería parisina y donados por un marinero.El baile, que dura una hora, se ejecuta tres veces en el día. La primera en el atrio al finalizar la misa, y las dos restantes por la tarde, en el torreiro y la alameda.

DAY 21 - Weather was moody today, hesitating several times between the sun and the rain. I voted for the brighter option.
As the isolation obliges, I will be shooting details from my house and backyard, cropping all to squares. As it’s a single camera and a single lens type of challenge, I’ll be using only Fuji XE2 and Jupiter-8, a vintage 50mm f2 lens.
