La Repubblica di San Marino è un piccolo Stato indipendente dell'Europa meridionale. Enclave all'interno dei confini della Repubblica Italiana, ha un'estensione territoriale di soli 61,5 km² popolati da circa 30.000 abitanti. San Marino è il più vecchio stato sovrano e repubblica costituzionale del mondo, come la continuazione della comunità monastica fondata il 3 settembre 301 Marinus scalpellino di Rab. La costituzione di San Marino, emanata nel 1600, è la più antica costituzione del mondo ancora in vigore. L'economia del paese si basa principalmente sul turismo e la cultura di San Marino rimane italiana.
The Republic of San Marino, is a country situated on the eastern side of the Appennine Mountains. It is a landlocked enclave, completely surrounded by Italy. Its size is just over 61 km² with an estimated population of almost 30,000. San Marino claims to be the oldest recorded sovereign state and constitutional republic in the world, as the continuation of the monastic community founded on 3 September 301 by stonecutter Marinus of Rab.
The constitution of San Marino, enacted in 1600, is the world's oldest constitution still in effect. The country's economy mainly relies on tourism, and San Marino's culture remains Italian.
Come è facile ingannare...come è facile credere una cosa per un'altra!! Questa foto è stata scattata (anni fa) nel centro storico di Palermo...isola pedonale; i genitori erano appena dietro di loro..c'era anche il nonno...oltre ad esserci tantissima gente (era domenica)..eppure, guardando, diremmo che erano completamente soli!!!

Some boats on the water, near the old salt pools in village Strunjan (Slovenia).
Strunjan is a settlement in the Municipality of Piran in the Littoral region of Slovenia. In ancient times, salt mining was developed in these areas and still you can see there old, unused salt pools. Their history dates back to the early 8th century, although it is believed that salt was mined here already in Roman times. The Strunjan Nature Reserve, located on the north of the settlement, is the longest section of unspoiled coastline in the entire Gulf of Trieste.

Łodzie cumujące na wodzie obok dawnych basenów solnych w miejscowości Strunjan (Słowenia).
Strunjan – wieś w Słowenii, w gminie Piran. W dawnych czasach, na tych terenach, rozwinięte było wydobywanie soli. Dlatego też, Strunjan służył kiedyś jako osada dla robotników zajmujących się pracą w solankach. W okolicy wciąż znajdują się stare nieużywane baseny solne. Ich historia sięga początku VIII wieku, choć uważa się, że sól była wydobywana tu już w czasach rzymskich. Z północnej strony Strunjan jest otoczony przez wysokie klify przylądka Ronek z najdłuższym odcinkiem dzikiego wybrzeża w całej Zatoce Triesteńskiej.
