Macro Mondays 14.1.2019 "Hobby"

After almost two weeks since walking away from my 365 project I decided to play with photography again this morning. My plans of working on other projects turned into me sleeping in or binging the crazy news cycle neither which was filling me with joy. Now that I have broken my streak, I feel a bit freer to experiment and play.

This is part of an old computer PCI card (that’s how the computer wireless worked!).

Imaged with a Canon 1:1 capable macro lens - the EF-M 28mm. Camera tripod mounted for 0.4s exposure, on timer. Side-lit with off-camera LED light.

About 8 images focus-stacked. Note: the stacking is far from perfect, so you'll spot some oddities.

Used for fine work on circuit boards such as the soldering of surface mount components etc. Strange name though! The business end is usually made of copper.
