Hey flickr friends, I know i've been a bad contact and all, but i've just been going through a rough time of uninspiration.. hopefully that'll change soon, but more importantly, i sold my nikon d40.
i need a new camera that records video for a trip i'm going on this summer, and i thought i'd sell it right before christmas! so right now i'm searching for a new camera..
any recommendations?

Thundering down a narrow gorge on Glacier Creek, Alberta Falls in Rocky Mountain National Park is named after one of the first settlers of Estes Park, Alberta Sprague. Alberta and her husband, Abner, built a homestead in Moraine Park in 1874, which would eventually become a lodge that was used for hunting, fishing and dude ranching. The property was sold to James Stead in 1900 and remained in business as the Stead’s Ranch and Hotel until 1962. In 1910 Alberta and Abner built another lodge near the current parking area for Sprague Lake. The National Park Service purchased that property in 1932 and razed it in 1957. Abner is famous for being the first visitor to pay an entrance fee to Rocky Mountain National Park in 1939.

Magenta gum bichromate over cyanotype, test print on Hahnemuhle platinum rag paper. It was a test print and was supposed to get more gum layers on it, but I posted it on Facebook and now it's sold "as is". Alternative printing, especially gum bichromate, is like a box of chocolates...you never know what you're going to get!
