A ship entering the little harbour of Herkingen on the island of Goeree-Overflakkee in the Netherlands. You're looking at a large saltwater expanse called the Grevelingen.
The Electrical Maintenance Facility (EMF) at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida has solar panels capable of producing 125 kilowatts. Installation of the panels began in August 2019 and by February 2020, the panels were up and running, generating enough power to supply the facility. The addition of the solar panels has turned the EMF into a "net positive" facility, meaning it now produces more energy than it consumes. Photo credit: NASA/Ben Smegelsky
Das Bild zeigt das geplante Atomkraftwerk in Kalkar. Es ging jedoch nie ans Netz. Heute befindet sich dort ein Freizeitpark (Kernie).

The Crescent Dunes Solar Energy Project is a 110 megawatt (MW) net solar thermal power project with 1.1 gigawatt-hours of energy storage, located near Tonopah, about 190 miles (310 km) northwest of Las Vegas. It is the first utility-scale concentrating solar power (CSP) plant with a central receiver tower and advanced molten salt energy storage technology from SolarReserve. The project, developed by SolarReserve and owned by Tonopah Solar Energy, LLC. was anticipated to cost less than $1 billion. EPC Contractor was ACS Cobra, which carried out the engineering design, procured the equipment and materials necessary, and then constructed and delivered the facility to Tonopah Solar Energy.

the lightbulb in my room burned out... thought i'd put it to good use.
(i really liked the color version, but it didn't go with the rest of the set....)

Soaking sun rays, they seem to mirror our star...

The nine works of the ninth edition of the Amsterdam Light Festival are spread throughout the city and the locations are not communicated by the organization.
These projections are located on the outside walls of the Amsterdam UMC - Locatie VUmc in Buitenveldert.
Amsterdam Light Festival
Amsterdam Light Festival is an annual light art festival in Amsterdam. Artists, architects and (light) designers from all over the world bring their light artworks and installations alive during the festival every winter.
EDITION #9; NO ROUTE BUT OUR LIGHT KEEPS SHINING
This Edition is different from previous Editions. This Edition we are unable to realize a walking route, there will be no boat tour and no festival. Thanks to our partners, we will, however, illuminate the city with light art. We will place seven works of art spread over four different city districts. The lights are shining!
The theme of this year is "When Nature Calls", very appropriate this day and age.

iGuzzini i.s.m. Amsterdam Light Festival, illustraties van Rachel Kondrup
Although it is slowly changing, the world of science is not very diverse. That is why Amsterdam Light Festival, together with lighting company iGuzzini, want to pay tribute to three important women in science. The line drawn portraits of these three scientists are - very appropriately - projected on the facade of the academic hospital Amsterdam UMC, location VUmc. The symbols used in the portraits are a hint to the field of women. For example, the sun has been essential for Mária Telkes (HU / US, 1900-1995), a pioneer in solar energy research who succeeded early in storing solar heat. Rosalind Franklin (GB, 1920-1958) discovered the structure of our DNA in 1952, but unfortunately the Nobel Prize for this was awarded to her colleagues after her untimely death. Françoise Barré-Sinoussi (FR, 1947) identified the HIV virus in the 1980s as the cause of AIDS and has been researching drugs and a vaccine ever since.
