Being provided with the egg late in the process meant for a design that could be quickly implemented.

Group given image of previously successful design. Discussed for a while but decided it wouldn't work as they couldn't see how it worked.

The original workings for this design clearly show a three dimensional object. However, the rendition for the implementing group did not make this clear. There was little explanatory text. The resulting 2d implementation was unsuccessful.

Attempt to catch egg. Missed (always does).

Software Engineering IU CS batch for 2007-08 along with supervisors and professor.

Design with carefully positioned buffers but not strong enough.

The group followed the instructions. They couldn't get the straws completely inside each other as indicated so the padding wasn't as strong as designed (more area covered though).

After much fiddling and "prototyping" the group very quickly wrote the implementation instructions for the implementation group.
