Hessian Hill.

Again today we did not have much in the way of clouds in the sky near sunset so I opted for more of a landscape photo as the sun was getting low.

Norway is a place of endless natural beauty. Incredible fjords, winding small roads, raw tunnels carved through the bedrock and so much more. These images are from summer road trips during 2024.

These images do not utilize AI and are original imagery with no items added or removed (such as errant leaves, pieces of trash, or power lines). What you see is as close to the moment as I experienced it.

Haven't uploaded here in forever ohmy, these are from two weeks ago but I'll transition them w some new shots

There was still some morning fog in the countryside when I saw these couple of trees and the sun almost covered by the clouds. The feeling was, one more time, silence, loneliness and mistery. The noise of the shot was the only one to disturb the muffled atmosphere. Magic.

Took this photo of an old friend while adventuring yesterday

Before taking timelapse assingment , I got up early and found this sight of simple viillage life.

Amongst the vibrant sea of blossoms in the flower fields, two women working in red rose fields in a hazy morning.

A quiet moment beneath the old stone bridge at Thirlmere, where autumn leaves drift across the stream and soft mist filters through the trees. The moss-covered rocks and golden woodland light capture the calm beauty of the Lake District in October. A timeless scene of nature’s patience and peace.

Spring has arrived... May you all have a beautiful weekend! :)

Fantasy landscape with green foliage, forests, waterfalls, and a serene small lake adorned with stones. Soft evening light from the sun enhances the enchanting ambiance of this picturesque scene.

A mother mallard calmly surveys her brood as six tiny ducklings paddle through gentle waves, each exploring the water with innocent curiosity. The choppy lake surface shimmers under soft sunlight, adding motion and depth to this intimate wildlife scene. Created by Duncan Rawlinson, this photograph captures a tender moment of care and instinct, as a watchful parent gently guides her young through their watery world.

Two siblings smile together on a wooden bridge at sunset. The boy wears a plaid shirt while the girl is cozy in a fluffy jacket, both enjoying a peaceful moment outdoors.

Architectural details in one gable of the old Reading Town Hall and Reading Museum building, illuminated in soft sunlight, late on a winter afternoon. One curious detail is that the heraldic shield (escutcheon) design is apparently the version from the common town seal, with five male heads, rather than the version from the Reading Borough coat of arms, in which the five heads are female (see example). Berkshire, UK, 14-Feb-2019.

Taking the photo away from the sun during sunset gives softer light and colors. This photo is more subtle and calming than some of my other sunset photos.

My first visit to Japan was far too brief - just a week to explore Tokyo and Kyoto. And yet, it surpassed my expectations, demolished my preconceptions, and spoiled me with color and vibrancy.
