Good jobs around the world do the volunteers. Reducing volunteerism in a society is not the good sign for its true development.

 

Volunteerism and professionalism are not same, should not be mixed up. Goodness and creativity of the society have a proportional relationship with the type and nature of volunteerism.

 

Among the extreme expansion of capitalism, busy schedule, business motivations however in individualism, the spirit of volunteerism did not loss in Japan, in some cases have been increased. Bangladesh needs to restore its original volunteer culture.

 

সারা পৃথিবীতে স্বেচ্ছাসেবকরা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কাজগুলো করেছে। স্বেচ্ছাসেবকরা কখনো দেওলিয়া হয় না, হারায় না, দেয়ার চেয়ে বেশী পায়! ফলাফল শুধু সময়ের ব‍্যাপার। যে সমাজে যত বেশী ভলেন্টিয়ার, সে সমাজ তত বেশী সুন্দর, উন্নত ও সৃজনশীল! পুঁজিবাদের চরম বিকাশ, ব‍্যবসা, ব‍্যস্ততা ও ব‍্যক্তিকেন্দ্রকতার মাঝেও জাপানে স্বেচ্ছাসেবকতায় ভাটা পড়েনি, বরং ক্ষেত্র বিশেষে বেড়েছে। বাংলাদেশেরও ঘুরে দাঁড়ানো দরকার!
