This is the "island" in the middle of an oxbow lake in western Iowa. Not really an island, but it still goes by that name. Most of the leaves have fallen from the trees. Best viewed large.

This is a beautiful little brook in Randolph, New Hampshire. It incorporates a number of very picturesque waterfalls and the path that follows it's banks is a joy to hike this time of the year.

The Beartooth Wilderness is full of glacier cut lakes. One can imagine the huge slabs of ice grinding down the granite to create hollows that filled with water as the ice melted.

It's Snyder Cut day people! Have you seen the film yet? Did you enjoy it? No spoilers please for those who haven't seen it yet!
