We’re Here! -- sharing This Life I Live.
It's zero degrees Fahrenheit with the streets turned to ice and snow blowing in a cold wind. I had to take my life in my hands and run to the pharmacy for my grand daughters today - three times. This scene is across the street.

I shot this yesterday morning after our overnight snow.
If it weren't for the leaves, this could almost be a black and white shot.

Snow Day
We didn't quite mange to have snow for Christmas Day but its lovely to have a covering whilst its still the bank holiday weekend. We went for a short wander around the fields this morning, nice to get out in nature after sitting in the house for 3 days solid, eating, drinking and watching TV. It was also nice to see a few of the young ones sledging and enjoying the snow, brings back memories from quite a while ago.
A pair of Elgin Joliet and Eastern SD38-2s drop a pair of steel coil cars onto the CP siding in Rondout on a dark and cold afternoon in 1999.
The J orange really looked sharp in the snow despite the gloomy weather.
Our first snow of the year. It transformed our backyard in a wonderful way for an afternoon. It’s mostly gone now, but it looks like we’ll be getting more in about a week.
We had about 15cm of snow today, our second of the season.
After shoveling and blowing the snow in our driveway I played with this image a little. The snow has its nice side to compensate for the other side!
