Happy Snail Saturday ;o)

This is something I had wanted to do for quite a while. You need the right weather, to even find a snail, and have to be prepared.

Unfortunately the snail hides in its house when you place the chair, but when she comes out again, the house moves and the precariously balanced chair topples over - one split second after this picture.

I love taking photos of snails. They attach themselves to all kind of plants and this naturally creates all kind of composition opportunities to photograph them. Also, the geometry of the shell lands itself well to a black and white image, imho.
