This Snail Kite was practically posing for us!. We found him by a bridge in about the same place we had found him a previous year. It just goes to show how important the enviroment is. We you remove vegetation and change the environment you may affect more than you think...

large, light brown snail with a spherical, brownish casing, which is valued as a delicacy. here in my garden after the rain.
The Snail Kite's main food is Pomacea Snails. It flies low over the water and will grab a snail with its feet. It is considered endangered.

This is something I had wanted to do for quite a while. You need the right weather, to even find a snail, and have to be prepared.
Unfortunately the snail hides in its house when you place the chair, but when she comes out again, the house moves and the precariously balanced chair topples over - one split second after this picture.
