As promised, here's a few extra shots from my visit with the bears! This bear was having an absolute feast, happily munching away on the lush grass and wild plants scattered across the refuge.

A young adult grizzly bear, doing what grizzly bears do best... eat. When they come out of their dens in the spring, they are endlessly searching for anything green and edible. If they are lucky, they come across dead animals that didn't survive the winter and rodents that they can dig up. Their diet changes with the seasons and by late summer, berries are the main course. Grizzlies can eat up to 250,000 buffaloberries daily!

On this particular day, photographers were not on the menu. Actually, it is pretty much unheard of for a grizzly to purposely stalk a human as prey. You still have to be extremely careful out there though - you would never want to sneak up on one of these magnificent animals!

Seeing This Robin more frequently since regular Feeding, He looks to be a good weight for the winter.

Even a snack can be hard work while you are stealth-ing along the shoreline....Great Blue Heron London Ontario.

Pushing on that trigger is like pulling magic into my very soul...Darrell.
