Half term and the rain continues to pour, but I have refused to let that dampen my creative spirit. I normally like to make a visit to the coast at half term or somewhere truly exotic like the Yorkshires Dales or the Lake District. Unfortunately, my MG ZR is having one of its funny turns at the moment, so I decided not to risk a large distance and went local. I figured that all the rain would provide some considerable flow in Burbage Brook and that the greenery might appear very saturated from all the moisture. The brownish, peaty tinge to the water and long exposure clearly influenced my choice of title!
Peace I ask of thee, O’ River
Peace, peace, peace
When I learn to live serenely
Cares will cease.
From the hills I gather courage
Visions of the days to be
Strength to lead and faith to follow
All are given unto me
Peace I ask of thee, O’ River
Peace, peace, peace.
Blurry flow, Smooth fades. Dreamy Effect. Bursting.
Lucid. Lucidity.
Looks better at biggest size. :)

Beer in the Stone Roses bar York.
3.4% amber colour and good head but and average bitter. I am not a fan of smoothflow beers and I did not like the bar.

Chakras Vs Energy Oneness
What do chakras essentially mean?
Popular belief takes them to be the storehouses of energy oneness in the body.
Nothing can be farther from truth than this.

The way in to The Cauliflower pub in Seven Kings, Essex. Unfortunately the handpumps have been taken out and all the ale is either smoothflow (if I want nitrogen I'll breathe in!) or overpriced.
Not sure when I'll next be in Seven Kings as Ilford FC were condemned to a bottom two finish today and should be relegated (but who knows what the end of season will throw up), plus Enfield Town FC are in the play offs and we might even get promoted. If we do go back, I'll remember to stop off in Stratford where the beer is better and cheaper.
Just part of the aftermath of the UEFA Cup Final between Rangers and Zenit St Petersburg on 14 May 2008. An estimated 100,000 Rangers fans (and considerably fewer Zenit fans) descended on Manchester for the match, most planning to watch on big screens in designated "fan zones" around the city.
Despite drinking starting in earnest around breakfast time, most of the day seemed to pass without incident. However, when the big screen in Piccadilly Gardens broke down just before the start of the match, things descended pretty rapidly into chaos.
