Even though it’s Monday I had to go into work for a little bit today. They were doing a Smartsheet training thing where attendance was required. It was fine. I did get out of it with some gummy bears, which helps. For some unknown reason, Emily wanted to go to Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch, so I took advantage of that magic moment. Afterwards we did some shopping at Target and popped through the car wash. Things got a bit hairy there.

The massive spinning brush things at my car was are pretty intense. I always wonder if those things are slowly removing the paint from my car. Today, as I pulled around to the vacuums and noticed some wires that I hadn’t seen before behind my side mirror. Turns out the giant brushes knocked the plastic cover right off! Luckily the dudes working there were able to retrieve it and it wasn’t damaged. I guess I have to make an appointment now.

I finally got around to going through the boxes that have been piled up in my office since Mom and Dad moved. There was a lot of junk in there, but I also came across some really nice little letters and stuff from high school. It was a fun little trip!

I’m not sure why, but all this time we’ve kept a framed certificate that I was awarded in 3rd grade for perfect attendance. I’m definitely hanging that one up at work.

Tonight Amanda came over for what is now referred to as “flügggøe time.” We sat and visited.

Emily got another movie scratched off her bucket list today! Ok, maybe it’s my bucket list FOR her. Aside from the opening titles, which are hilariously bad, the movie holds up really well!

This morning I shot an interview with a UNT donor at the Gateway for an upcoming video. It was REALLY cold this morning, and I didn’t have an assistant to help me haul gear, so that was a bit unpleasant. I went back to the Gateway again this afternoon for a little training session for Smartsheet, the new Robohead. Riveting stuff!
