Great initiative from a Great Man, Mr. Sarang Nirmal (Chairman-Prabhat Dairy Ltd). Understanding green fodder deficit, one of the biggest challenge of dairy farmers (which deepens during the lean period, resulting in poor nutrition to animals and hence poor productivity and poor quality of milk), Mr. Nirmal decided to work towards solving it & with his vast experience of the dairy farming sector, took the initiative of packing green fodder in compacted silage bales, so it can be preserved for a longer period, has an excellent nutritional value.
