Stefan, one of my flickr friends, gave me the set of this ISO 20 film and its developer. I tried it, and found it both difficult and fascinating.
A railway worker sitting in his yellow machine whiling away the time playing on his smartphone as he waits for The Overland train to arrive from Melbourne to load stuff onto the trucks attacked to his machine.
Auch so ein klassisches Motiv hier in Lissabon: die Regenschirm in der Pink Street.

I attended a light show by Lux Muralis in Winchester Cathedral. The theme was Remembrance. It was very moving. Of course nearly everyone had a phone out. I was just struck by the contrast of modern technology against a backdrop celebrating self sacrifice not selfies in a Medieval setting. By the way I did not use my smartphone on this occasion.
Deze Kroezeboom is met 500 jaar oud één van de oudste eikenbomen van Nederland. Kroezeboom betekent kruisboom: een boom die een grens of kruispunt aangeeft. Kroezebomen konden verschillende functies hebben: nl. een rechtsplaats, heilige plaats of grensmarkering.
Tijdens de reformatie waren er geheime bijeenkomsten van de katholieke bevolking bij de Kroezenboom waarbij zij tot ca. 1730 de mis bijwoonden. De wagen waarop het altaar en priester werden vervoerd diende als preekstoel. In de 16e en 17e eeuw stond op deze plek een veldkapelletje, in het Twents ‘het hilligen huesken’ (Heilige huisje) genoemd. Ook na de sloop van het kapelletje bleef het een heilige plaats voor de katholieken uit de omgeving.
Tot aan de Tweede Wereldoorlog was er elk jaar in de zomer een mis bij de Kroezeboom.
At 500 years old, this Kroezeboom is one of the oldest oak trees in the Netherlands. Kroezeboom means cross tree: a tree that indicates a border or crossroads. Kroeze trees could have different functions: namely a place of justice, a sacred place or a boundary marker.
During the Reformation, there were secret meetings of the Catholic population at the Kroezenboom, where they attended mass until about 1730. The wagon on which the altar and priest were transported served as a pulpit. In the 16th and 17th century there was a field chapel on this spot, called 'het hilligen huesken' (Holy House) in Twente. Even after the demolition of the chapel, it remained a holy place for the Catholics from the area.
Until the Second World War there was a mass every year in the summer at the Kroezeboom.
